Cheryl is a 29 year old single mother who is currently living in a shelter for battered women and children.  Since moving in with next to nothing, she has been able to get her CNA license and is interviewing for several positions.  She came to the Krewe to ask for some assistance in obtaining a used car so that she can commute to wok.  The Krewe provided the down payment after she showed us that she can afford the monthly insurance, gas, etc. from the money she has saved until she can get steady employment.
