In June, 2016, The FOOT Foundation completed another successful clinic in Guatemala. Their team of volunteers worked nearly 70 hours in 4 days.

The Krewe’s scholarship committee finalized their selections in May and are pleased to announce there are 6 recipients of a $1500 scholarship to assist the students in continuing their education for the 2016-17 school year. The committee had 1 returning recipient and added 5 new students from all other the country with varying academic pursuits.

The Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago hosted the Half Way to the Knight Parade at the Tampa Bay Rays Game on August 6, 2016. Many Krewe’s were in attendance to watch Ray’s baseball on the party deck at Tropicana Field.

Several members of Ye Notorious Krewe of the Peg Leg Pirate were in attendance at Tampa Bay Prosthetics on Monday, August 15, 2016 to present a check for Mr. Garcia’s new prosthetic. The Krewe, working in partnership with Tampa Bay Prosthetics, provided $3000.00 in financial assistance to help cover the costs of Mr. Garcia’s prosthesis.

The Krewe of Sea SaveYours hosted the 3rd Annual Krewe Rush Night at Harley Davidson and Scooters Saloon in Brandon on August 13, 2016. Several of our Peg Leg Pirate Krewe members showed up to socialize, shop at the many vendors in attendance, and share the story of our charitable contributions and benefits of becoming a Peg Leg Pirate Krewe member.

Fun and foolery are part of the program for the Peg Leg Pirates. Ye Notorious Krewe of the Peg Leg Pirate celebrated their 12th year at the Gasparilla Parade last weekend in Tampa, sporting a newly renovated float complete with a second floor that accommodated a live band.
