Our 13th Annual Sporting Clay Benefit Shoot is planned to help raise the needed funds to continue our work. Over the last 12 years we have given over $250,000 to help amputees.

The Ruskin VFW Post 6287 is hosting a spaghetti Dinner on October 16Th to help raise the funds needed for the Ruskin Veteran’s Day Parade. For only $8.00 per person they are offering Dine In, Take out, and Drive though delivery for parties of 10 or more. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a “Basket of Cheer” Join members of the Krewe of the Peg Leg Pirate in support of our local veterans.
Come out and help us honor our Veteran’s at the annual Veteran’s Day Parade sponsored by Local VFW Post 6287 Ruskin FL. The parade will run a 1.5-mile stretch of U.S. 41 from Fourth Street Southeast to 19th Street Southeast. Come out and thank a Veteran for their service.
The Krewe of the Peg Leg Pirate will be on their best behavior as you know who will be watching during the annual Santa Fest Downtown Tampa Christmas Parade. The parade will begin at Morgan Street and Madison Street and travel west on Madison Street to Ashley Drive, We then turn north and end at Ashley Drive and Cass Street. Your best viewing opportunity is along Madison Street. Stick around for the festival from noon – 4 p.m at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
The Krewe will be ringing in the New Year in Ybor City as we take part in the annual Outback Bowl New Year’s Eve Parade. The parade will feature floats from several local Krewe’s and organizations and numerous marching bands including the College bands participating in the game. The parade starts at 5:30 and runs up 7th Ave in Ybor City.
Get the Kiddies ready and head out to Bayshore Blvd for the of the Childrens Gasparilla Extravaganza Presented by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla. The parade will begin at Bay to Bay Blvd. and Bayshore Blvd. and continue north on Bayshore Blvd. to Edison St. This is an alcohol and Grog free event.
Its Gasparilla parade season and the Peg Leg Pirate Krewe and our Pirate Ship float will be setting sail down Bayshore Blvd and heading into the city of Tampa for The Gasparilla Parade Of Pirates Presented by Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla.
The Krewe of Sant’ Yago is once again hosting the Illuminated Knight Parade on February 11th. Come out and see all of the floats lit up while we travel down 7th Ave from Nuccio Parkway to 22nd Avenue.

Some of the Krewe will be heading up to Pasco County and joining our pirate friends for the Chasco Fiesta Parade in historic downtown New Port Richey. Additional information will be coming soon.
Beware of pirates wearing green as the Krewe once again heads to Ybor City of the Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 18th. Ybor city is the place to be for this celebration as we light up the float in green and travel up 7th Ave. This will be your last chance to see the Peg Leg Pirate Ship this season as she is heading into dry dock for some much needed rest.

The DeSoto Heritage Grand Parade which is the final parade of the season. It starts at Manatee High School and heads east on Manatee Avenue to downtown Bradenton. Additional information will be coming soon.
